Sir Alex Ferguson has stated that he is confident that Manchester United's young stars can lead the way in United defending their Premier League title and making a serious assault on the Champions League.
Rafael, Fabio, Nani, Anderson, Gibson, Evans, Macheda, Petrucci, Welbeck and Eckersley are all under 22 and already making waves in Old Trafford. Can these young United stars make enough impact to guide United to glory this season?

I think United will need to blend the younger players with the more experienced players. Ferguson needs to keep his eye on the ball this season and ensure United pick up full points in the so called weaker fixtures. It is great to see young players getting a chance to shine but not at the cost of losing points. Nani, Anderson and the De Silva twins look like they will make big impacts this seaso. Macheda and Evans used sparingly and the others pushing for a place. Roll on Birmingham and Glory Glory Man Utd. PS: Keep up the good work lads.
